{"id":51062,"date":"2026-06-24T11:49:52","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T09:49:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sloman.eu\/?p=51062"},"modified":"2026-06-24T11:49:52","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T09:49:52","slug":"construction-of-the-kozina-bypass","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sloman.eu\/en\/construction-of-the-kozina-bypass\/","title":{"rendered":"Construction of the Kozina Bypass"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">As part of the construction of the <strong>Kozina bypass<\/strong>, approximately 1.5 km in length, three bridge structures were built: <strong>two underpasses<\/strong> and an <strong>overpass crossing<\/strong> the main Diva\u010da\u2013Koper railway line.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The underpasses provide crossings for a forest road and a local road beneath the bypass route, while the key structure of the project is the railway overpass. The 39.30 m long overpass was designed as an integral prestressed single-span structure with a span length of 34 m. The structure is founded on piles and designed as a massive arch-type construction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Due to the intensive railway traffic on the Diva\u010da\u2013Koper line, the construction of the overpass required careful planning of the construction methodology and close coordination of the works with railway operations.
