{"id":51078,"date":"2026-06-26T09:22:42","date_gmt":"2026-06-26T07:22:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sloman.eu\/?p=51078"},"modified":"2026-06-26T09:24:41","modified_gmt":"2026-06-26T07:24:41","slug":"protective-measures-at-koroska-bela","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sloman.eu\/en\/protective-measures-at-koroska-bela\/","title":{"rendered":"Protective Measures at Koro\u0161ka Bela"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The Bela emergency protection project was implemented to <strong>reduce the risk of torrential floods and landslides<\/strong> and to improve the safety of the Koro\u0161ka Bela settlement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">The project included the construction of the Medi\u010d and Kres evacuation roads, a reinforced concrete debris barrier, eight flexible debris flow barriers in the \u010cikla and Urbas torrential valleys, and an access road for the maintenance of the protection structures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Construction was carried out in demanding terrain with limited accessibility, requiring the construction methodology to be adapted to the site conditions. <strong>Rope access specialists<\/strong> participated in selected operations, while construction materials and equipment were transported to inaccessible locations by <strong>helicopter<\/strong>.
